S.R.Nagappa Shetty Memorial National College of Applied Sciences (SRNMNC) was established in the year 1991 by the National Education Society. a pioneer society in Malnad Region founded by freedom fighters of a high repute. The college is named in the honour of Late. S.R.Nagappa Shetty, the founder secretary of N.E.S. This is the unique college of applied sciences. affiliated to Kuvempu University. and recognised by government of Karnataka having the credit of launching several applied science disciplines in the undergraduate level.
