Established in 1991 under the esteemed National Education Society (R), S.R. Nagappa Shetty Memorial National College of Applied Sciences (SRNMNC) stands as a distinguished institution in the Malnad region. Founded by visionary leaders and freedom fighters of high repute, the institution carries forward a proud legacy of dedication to education and social development. Named in honour of Late Sri S.R. Nagappa Shetty, the Founder Secretary of N.E.S., the college has emerged as a unique centre for Applied Sciences. It is permanently affiliated to Kuvempu University and recognized by the Government of Karnataka. SRNMNC holds the distinction of being the first private college in the state to undergo NAAC accreditation and secure a B+ grade. Spread across a sprawling campus of approximately 10 acres, the institution provides a vibrant academic environment for around 1200 students supported by dedicated faculty and staff members.
